Welcome From Bishop McNamara's Athletic Director
Athletics
at Bishop McNamara Catholic High School attempts to cultivate
teamwork, sportsmanship, self-discipline and resilience. We believe
that the competitive and collaborative of a team setting is an
important part of our great education tradition. Bishop Mac Catholic
High School offers over 20 sports for boys and girls interested in
participating.
Bishop Mac competes in catholic leagues and IHSA state competitions, where we have won several state championships and had many state tournament appearances in various sports Our football program has received regional and national as well as our basketball programs.
Bishop Mac's coaching staff reflects our belief in the teacher-coach model. These men and women bring the same desire and positive support to their respective sports that they bring to the classroom.
Our students, once graduated leave to go on to college, inspired by their experiences in our programs and in the classroom. Many of our athletes go on to participate in collegiate sports at many different collegian levels. Each year, Bishop McNamara Catholic students return after entering college informing our staff, parents and other alumni how prepared they were for college both on the field and in the classroom.
